Now Tourism has become one of the most important growing sectors of the Moroccan economy since it is a real source of income and of job opportunities. Morocco is now committed to a long term strategy with the aim of promoting tourism. This strategy was initiated in 2001 by signing the “Framework Agreement” and the “Implementation Agreement” between the Moroccan government and the General Confederation of the Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and under the Real Presidency of the King. Now, this agreement lies under the new tourism strategy called “The 2010 Vision”.
